Dispatching | Episode 139
Normally this episode would be a financials episode, but I have had a crazy couple of weeks and am up against a flight and won’t have time to finish the books for September before it’s time to record. Last episode I mentioned that we have a bit of a change in the works and that’s what we are going to talk about. Haulin Assets is going to bring dispatching in-house.
What To Expect From Episode 139
Your 20 Dispatch has been with us since day 1 and has been a huge part of our business. I wouldn’t know how to slide tandems if it wasn’t for Jake. It just makes business sense for us at this point in our business to bring dispatching in-house. We have known for a while this day would come and have been communicating about it for a while.
To make the transition easier on both of our businesses, we are going to do it over a long time. The plan is to transition 2 trucks per month for the next 5-6 months. That will allow us time to build good processes and it will prevent a big shock in Jake’s business as well.
